Synapsis RADAR NX/ ECDIS NX

This course provides technical training, which allows the student to service and repair the covered components on operator maintenance and field service level. Troubleshooting and repair is covered on component assembly level. The course includes both practical and theoretical lessons and is designated to skilled service technicians and engineers.

This course will enable Service Engineers and Maintenance Personnel to install and configure a Synapsis INS based on the Small Marine Computer V1/ V2 and NSX Radar Systems. Furthermore, maintenance and repair of Soft- and Hardware is an essential part of this course.

Trainee´s prerequisites:

• Good knowledge in electronics and mechanics.
• Good knowledge about computer (DOS, Windows, Network Technology).
• Basic skills in seamanship and navigation.
• Knowledge about common bridge equipment.
• Speaking English fluently, especially technical English.

Additional requirements:

• For use of technical software and test programs each technician must bring an own laptop computer with Microsoft Windows Operating System.
